Spring Necklace

Guardate cos'ho scoperto!!!! Voglio assolutamente condivere questo video con tutti voi! Trovo che questa sia una di quelle signore che hanno una marcia in più! E sono anche contenta che, come me, abbia una certa età. Davvero invecchiando ci si esprime con sempre maggiore completezza!

Sfogliando le richieste che vengono pubblicate su Etsy, il sito dove sono in vendita solo cose fatte interamente a mano, ho trovato una domanda per alcune collane da far indossare a sei damigelle in occasione di un matrimonio che avverrà in primavera.

L'abito indossato sarà di seta grigio piuttosto scuro, scollato a sottoveste. Il prezzo deve essere contenuto.

La mia proposta è un girocollo di perle di cristallo completato da un rametto fiorito al centro. Secondo me ciascuna delle damigelle potrebbe avere la stessa base di perle di cristallo ma variare il motivo centrale con differenti sfumature di colore: verde chiaro, ametista, azzurro ecc.

Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate...

Browsing on Etsy, the site where only entirely handmade items can be sold, I discovered a request for six necklaces to be wearing by six bridesmaids at a spring wedding. They will wear long, silk, dark grey dresses with a plunging neckline. My proposal is a crystal beads choker with a flowery sprig in the center. In my opinion each bridesmaid could change the shade of the flowers choosing among pale green, amethyst, light blu etc.

Questa collana è nata per puro caso. Vi racconto come è andata. Dovete sapere che, un paio di anni fa, ho provato a vendere le mie collane a un mercatino natalizio. Direte voi: cosa c'entravano? Infatti! Ma io mi ero messa in testa di far uscire le collane da casa e mi si era presentata solo quell'occasione... Comunque, a quel mercatino, in attesa di clienti, mi son messa a cucire tra loro quei pochi materiali che avevo portato con me... e il cervello era gia un vulcano!



I made this necklace by chance. About two years ago I took part in a christmas fair. Yes... I know, it's absolutely not the best place where to sell my necklaces... but... you know... I just wanted to try it and I had no other choises. Anyway, waiting for the costumers to come I began sewing up those few little pieces I brought with myself.....and this is the final result.

Anche questa collana, come potete ben vedere, è un'esplosione! Sì... della tua testa un pò matta... direbbe mia nipote, che è anche la mia modella. Non posso che darle ragione in verità! Ma l'avrete un pò capito, penso, guardando i miei lavori, che le strutture fisse non sono fatte per me!
